Polish born Martin Bartnicki inherited his love of photography from his father. In 2005 he relocated from Wroclaw, Poland to seek out further opportunities across Europe, establishing himself for a time in Northern Ireland for some years before moving again to London. Martin has been practising photography as a professional since 2005, but draws on a lifetime of experience and a passion for capturing the fleeting moments we hope to remember. Martin specialises as both a wedding photographer and a portrait photographer, but is available for other events and occasions as may be required.
A member of such prestigious associations as WPJA and AGWPJA Martin has practised his trade across Europe – from Greece, Poland to Germany and the UK. His work has been featured multiple times in Polish magazine KROPKA PL, and has placed in two categories in prominent Polish photography competition FRS – including 1st place in the Emotions and Action category. He has operated in a professional capacity at a number of portrait and fashion studios and has spent time organising and leading photography classes in London and Northern Ireland, finding the sharing of his photography knowledge with others personally rewarding. He has also applied his skills as a fashion photographer.
Martin’s varied experience across European countries and cultures has given him a unique style and perspective in his art. With an appreciation of both people and the split second interactions between them that define their relationships and character, Martin can employ his extensive and varied experience to capture your special moments. Photography is more than just a job for Martin – he thrives on connecting with and understanding his clients, particularly in his wedding photography. He may well shed a tear for the happy couple on their wedding day, and he strives to ensure the memories and moments captured are as special as the day itself.
